Personal Interests
Dr. Behram loves to teach medicine to the next generation of providers, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and of course, OB/GYN residents. Currently, he is working with residents from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), and students from Drexler University’s Division of Graduate Health Professions, Anne Arundel Community College Physician Assistant Program, Towson University’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, among other sites. Dr. Behram also serves on MedChi’s Maternal & Child Health Subcommittee serving the interests of patients and providers.
Biography
A frequent speaker on health care issues, Dr. Behram began his career by getting a medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and receiving residency training from Riverside Regional Medical Center. He also received the prestigious Galloway Fellowship for his work in cancer treatment while at Memorial Sloan-Kettering. He became board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and became a fellow of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. His undergraduate degree is from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD.
